Role Overview
The Head of Real Estate will be responsible for identifying and securing top real estate opportunities in target cities. This position requires a strategic thinker with a keen eye for potential, a strong network in the real estate and hospitality industries, and exceptional project management skills to ensure timely site delivery.
Key Responsibilities 🚀
1. Site Identification & Acquisition
- Develop a vision and heat map of target cities to locate emerging areas with high foot traffic.
- Identify iconic, unconventional spaces that align with Big Mamma’s brand and mission.
- Challenge norms to discover unique opportunities others may overlook.
2. Pipeline & Project Management
- Maintain a focused and clear pipeline for location openings, adhering to set delivery dates.
- Proactively develop alternative plans (Plan B) for each target site to ensure consistency in the pipeline.
- Coordinate with local authorities and stakeholders, including design and technical teams, to meet pre-lease milestones and on-time project delivery.
3. Networking & Market Insight
- Establish and expand a network of agents, landlords, and funds to access a wide range of real estate opportunities.
- Monitor competitor activities, including deals and growth strategies, to inform Big Mamma’s expansion approach.
4. Business Planning & Agility
- Create high-level business plans and analyses, providing strategic insights rather than detailed finance reports.
- Produce concise reports and appraisals to give the Development Team a 360° view of potential sites.

Qualifications 🧳
- Proven experience in real estate acquisition within the restaurant, hospitality, or retail sectors, preferably with exposure to multiple European markets.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to navigate complex pre-lease stages.
- Established network with agents, landlords, and real estate investment firms.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to make agile and strategic decisions.
