Social Media & Communications Freelance USA

Your big mission is to boost Big Mamma’s presence throughout social networks with hyper-creative and disruptive content across our USA accounts in the run up to our first opening. You will assist in developing Big Mamma in the USA and the group’s brands digital presence through website, menus, photographing/filming new content, lead on client requests, as well as helping the global communications team with wider US openings.

The mission:

  1. Social Media:

  • Strategy & Planning: Help to build a strategic, disruptive and creative social strategy across Instagram.

  • Content: Create cool, disruptive, and trending photo and video content for Big Mamma’s US Instagram channels, using current trends and creative ideas. You will lead on the creation and planning of content.

  • Photography: Assist in local shoots and ensure imagery and visuals for the restaurants are on brand.

  • KPIs: Ensure quarterly social targets are hit and engagement consistently over-performs across IG.

  1. New Openings & Branding:

  • New Openings: Assist the Big Mamma US team with sourcing and arranging all assets for the new openings (Menus, Com pack, team clothing, launch video, brand content, etc)

  • PR: Work with the Head of Communications UK&I with the running of day-to-day PR requests and responsibilities, working closely with our PR agency

  • Menus: Assist with menu copy, working with F&B and graphic teams, and assist in writing promotional material for Big Mamma’s restaurants.

  • Branding/Partnerships: Assist the PR agency in implementing cool disruptive partnerships post opening.

  1. Community Management :

  • Instagram: Ensure 100% of the requests and comments are answered.

  • Emails: Be responsible for the management of our email address post opening, ensure all responses to clients requests are completed from our ops team.

  • Direct report to the Head of Communications UK & Ireland

  • Based in Miami or Palm Beach

  • Start date: ideally late March or early April

  • Working arrangement: 1–2 days per week initially
